Ashley “Ash” Fure (experimental music composer)

Ash Fure’s sonic practice sits at the nexus of experimental music, immersive theater, and performance art. Notable recent projects include Hive Rise: for Subs and Megas, premiered at Berlin’s iconic Berghain club during the 2020 CTM Festival; Filament: for Trio, Orchestra, and Moving Voices, called “captivating” and “ravishing” by The New York Times after its 2018 premiere with the New York Philharmonic; and The Force of Things, an immersive intermedia opera deemed “staggeringly original” and “the most purely visceral music-theatre outing of the year” in The New Yorker.
